Can I pick up and drop off my hats at the studio?
Yes, absolutely. We will arrange times with you first.
When should place my order?
You can place your order and reserve your hat as soon as you know which style you want.
Ideally, if you can you should make your reservation at least three weeks in advance of your event to help guarantee you get your first choice - but this is not essential.
When does my rental period begin and end?
Your rental period starts on the day your order is delivered, for example, if your hat is delivered on a Friday for a 4 night rental, that is your start date and you would need to drop your box into your local Post Office on Tuesday before 5pm (4 nights later).
If you were not able to receive delivery then that wont be counted. It starts as of the first attempted delivery date.
My rental period ends on a Sunday or Bank Holiday, what should I do?
We ignore Sundays or holidays when the Post Office is closed - so don't worry, just drop your box into your local Post Office the next working day.
Your package will be delivered to us the following business day and we will confirm everything by email.
How will my card be charged?
Olivia Roat London will charge your card with the full amount of the worth of the hat you have chosen to hire. Once returned to us we will refund the remaining amount back to your card minus the hire fee and or cancellation fees, overdue fees and damage costs.
What happens if the hat has been damaged during my hire?
If a product is returned in a damaged or dirty condition that exceeds normal wear and tear, as determined by Olivia Roat London in its sole discretion, you agree that Olivia Roat London may invoice you for the repair or at worst the full cost of replacing such product as well as charge you the full amount of any lost earnings or incurred costs resulting from the damage. The product replacement fee will vary depending on the specifics of each hat and its amount is to the full discretion of Olivia Roat London.
How do I return my hat?
Or you can return by post. Follow these steps below to return a hat.
1. Pack the hat in its original packaging and stick on the Olivia Roat London return address label provided inside the box and fill out the return form enclosed.
2. Drop your box at the local Post Office before 4.30pm. No additional fees or postage will be needed. Please ensure you keep your receipt safe as this is your proof of postage and has the tracking number. If an item doesn't arrive back with us and you cannot prove you sent it, we will charge you for the loss of the item.
3. All packages are on a 'Next Day' service so we will receive the box back the next working day before 1pm and will email you to confirm receipt.
What if I miss my return date/time?
Should an item not be returned within the pre-determined date, we reserve the right to charge your card accordingly.
You will be charged late fees to the value of £10.00 for every day it is overdue.
Order Cancellation Policy
We will charge a cancelation fee of £20.00 for any cancellations made within 4 days of the due hire.
